The Argument for a Stealth Head Coach Candidate

Isn't the whole point of hiring a good coach is so you can be a perennial playoff team?

The packers are on their 3rd Franchise signal caller (Farve, Rodgers, Love) and third successful head coach (Reid, McCarthy, LaFleur) is you ask me the Packers are doing everything right, they know when to let a player go and they know how to identify a head coach.
What I like about the Packers (and part of the reason for liking McCarthy) is that they build and maintain their roster through the draft. They averaged nine picks per year during McCarthy’s tenure. Hopefully he would bring that organizational philosophy to the Saints if hired.
