The Argument for a Stealth Head Coach Candidate

Are you sure Packers fans are happy MM is gone? MM won them a championship. LaFleur had Rodgers (for 4 years) didn’t win one, and now they are just a contestant in the playoffs, but not a viable Super Bowl threat, that many believed they were under MM.

You referenced 3 teams still needing a HC, but you are iffy on almost all remaining candidates. We will hire a HC, that’s a given, but are you sure that you would be happy with any hire?!?!

Also, I may be taking your term “stealth” a different way. I would consider a hire of Ron Rivera or Doug Pederson (names we haven’t been connected to-just throwing names out) as a stealth hire.

MM was ran out of Green Bay and the Packers immediately became a better team the following season. Keep in mind that MM didn't do anything in Green Bay worth noting his final 3 years that Lafluer hasn't done, and after the Packers and MM parted ways, front office officials for Green Bay has said his play calling and coaching has gotten stale which led to disgruntled players, led by Rodgers. Green Bay may not be in the playoffs any longer, but theres no denying they are one of the most dominate teams in the NFL currently, which is more then you can say for McCarthy's final 3 years in Green Bay, nor his 4 years with the Cowboys.
