Look, I've got nothing against McCarthy. I think he's a good coach. But like signing Derek Carr, I don't think it's a long term plan. It just prolongs the inevitable. I was in favor of signing Carr because of where the franchise was at the time. Now? I'd look to the future. I hope I'm wrong because I think McCarthy would have to defecate on the trophy case on Airline Hwy to not get the job.
