Saints will interview Mike McCarthy in person during this week, Jan. 20-Jan. 25 [Underhill: McCarthy would have to be the current favorite]

So I am curious here…are you saying that Reid and Belichick had some sort of inherent advantage with their new respective teams because they DIDN’T win Super Bowls before?

So if McNabb doesn’t blow the Eagles’ Super Bowl back in 2004, Reid is at some sort of disadvantage years later in your eyes?

Need more explanation here.
He like others have found this stat anomaly to justify not hiring a former SB winning coach. I explained what it's an anomaly. SB winning HCs stay with their teams for yrs and HC that win multiple SBs stay for decades and then usually retire , like a Bill Cower or Knoll or most of the multiple SB winning HCs

But what they all fail to mention is that there have been multiple HCs that have won a SB and then made it to another. Which if McCarthy makes it to the SB with us, I'll take my chances
