He's NOT a Payton prototype, SP had been a coach for 12 yrs before he was an OC, and a OC for 6yrs before we got him. Brady has been an OC for 3 yrs and bombed for half of that.
Offensive wild man??? More insanity @ LSU he was not even the OC nor did he CALL PLAYS . He was not even the QB coach Ensminger was. He was the passing game coordinator/ WR coach. He brought Payton's concepts to LSU, plus LSU had the greatest collection of skilled player even on a college football team.

He was an OFFENSIVE ASSISTANT with the Saints for TWO YRS. He did NOT coach Brees

He goes to Car and BOMBS as a OC then gets hired as QBs coach to work with an ALREADY elite Allen. They fire Dorsey the OC who helped get then to a 13-3 record the yr before because McDermott was on the hot seat and naturally they promote the QBs coach to OC. Where he tweaks a top 3-4 QB by making him run the ball more.

Brady may one day be a good HC but nothing indicates he is ready . Right now he's fool's gold and all of you are picking it up

You can minimize Brady, that's fine. I'd prefer him over outdated McCarthy given the state of the team. The Mickey show is soft and kinda checked out, so of course he'll find McCarthy comfortable.
