Saints planned to interview Mike McCarthy; McCarthy didn’t garner enough interest from Saints and will take a year off

Based on what?

What if Mickey and the group doing the interviews think the team would quickly “check out” on Brady or that he would struggle mightily to motivate a room full of millionaire alphas, especially after seeing that sort of affect with DA?

You’re not there in the room. The only thing you have to go on is possible MVP Josh Allen and the Bills’ offensive stat sheet and Brady happening to be calling the plays of one of if not the greatest, most talented college offenses ever assembled.

There’s more to making a HC hire than that.

Don’t be surprised if and when Brady has gone another cycle without being hired to lead an organization. He just may not be the guy you think he is.
Or that Brady just is not ready. He jumped at the Car OC job right after the LSU natty. He didn't even get some play calling experience when he bombs he takes a job being a QB coach a position he never played and coaching an already elite QB. Then when Dorsey get canned to appease the folks that wanted McDermott's head naturally they promote the QB coach. Brady's tweaks for Allen? Run the ball more

Brady seems to put the cart before the horse. He takes the promotion before he gains enough experience to handle the job at hand. My guess is he'll do the same thing with the HC position, strike while the iron is hot and not worry if the iron is hot enough to be a success
