Saints will interview Mike McCarthy in person during this week, Jan. 20-Jan. 25 [Underhill: McCarthy would have to be the current favorite]

And Brady was Allen’s QB coach for his two worst interception seasons of his career, excluding his rookie year. Perhaps a change in QB coach is what made the difference for Allen’s interceptions.

The idea that Brady took the Bills offense to a new level is just false since the Buffalo offense has been one of the best for several years now. DVOA ranks by year:

2020 - 4th (Daboll)
2021 - 9th (Daboll)
2022 - 2nd (Dorsey)
2023 - 3rd (Dorsey/Brady)
2024 - 2nd (Brady)

Brady went to Carolina and failed, just like Kellen Moore went to the Chargers and failed. Both coaches got another opportunity with a much better roster, and those rosters got their names added to the HC shortlist.

He actually had more in 2021 than 2022 but yes he had his worst INT year in 2023 when Dorsey was still OC and Brady was the QB coach.....yes the offense was prolific with Allen before Brady got there but they were not elite....

It's accurate and a good point, but apparently the Bills saw Dorsey as the problem and Brady as the solution (as they fired Dorsey mid season and promoted Brady to OC) and I'd say it's worked out pretty well so far.....since Brady has been the OC Josh Allen's turnovers have gone way down (13 INTs in 25 games, and only 3 fumbles lost) which is a definite factor why they are still playing right now.....

And if both Brady and Moore were so terrible, why did they continue to get opportunities?
