Saints to interview Mike McCarthy in middle of this week, 1/26-2/1 per Pelissero [Underhill: McCarthy would have to be the current favorite]

I think Brady and Moore are both good coaches. But as already noted, we don't know what kind of leaders they are and how good they are at running an entire team. To some extent you can't know that until someone has the job. But, at the same point, sometimes you can tell those things in an interview or from talking to people who have worked with them before and/or players that played for them. So, in the end, there is really no way we can know if those guys, or any of these guys outside of McCarty, can lead a team and run a team properly.

I'm not happy about the situation, but we just have to live with the fact that Loomis, Mueller, Ziegler, Parenton, Ireland, and Harley will have to decide if those guys have those abilities. It's easy for us to say just take a chance, but if these guys have talked to them and others and have come away with the impression that they don't have those things (and you would think they would not have a pretty good idea by comparing DA to Payton) then they aren't going to take that chance.

But, who knows, maybe they talked to Brady and Moore and they do think they are leaders of men who will come in change how things are done and make sure the entire team is being run properly. Or maybe they think that's Weaver or Kakfa.

I largely agree, Brady presents risks that McCarthy doesn't.....but I also think the combination of his youth (he would likely be here a while if successful) and his offensive prowess makes him at least a strong consideration.....

But I also know I don't trust Loomis to make the right decision....hopefully the group decision is a true group decision....

Impossible to know who they are favoring at this point but my favorites are Brady and then McCarthy.....
