Maybe he would want more say on the play calling, but I think he would see value in maintaining the same play call structure and base offense ideas rather than install a third playbook in three years for Carr. One guy memorizing new terms versus the whole offense starting from scratch.

Also keep in mind he kept Moore’s system as the foundation when he took over play calling in Dallas.
