Driveway is pretty clear. The roadway out front is clear .... and dry! Some areas of the lawn are nothing but grass and the areas that still have snow all have grass peeking through. The nightmare is almost over.

The fact that this storm was mostly snow kept it from being a genuine nightmare. Had we seen a huge ice storm to precede the arrival of the snowfall, there would have been major problems with power outages, and it would have practically crippled emergency crews & services throughout the area. For all the issues the snowstorm did cause, I believe we got off pretty easy during this history making event. Yesterday made for some good memories that will last a lifetime for most of the locals.
