According to podcaster Timothy J Jones: Aaron Glenn wanted Mickey Loomis removed from GM position in order to take Saints job [mod edit]

You just confirmed what I just said. You named the Avengers of Saints Reporting. I think your preference is that the story confirms from traditional buttoned up journalist, and that's fine.

And maybe the rumor is true, but I don't think that puts the Saints in a bad light.

In regards to a fan with a podcast, TJay has gotten in rooms that I am striving to reach someday. I don't agree with most of his takes but he's done pretty well with what he has built.

Jets beat reporters and national NFL reporters are the Avengers of Saints reporting?

And yes, I do have a preference for actual journalists over people who don't answer to editors and who are really rewarded with clicks even if what they say doesn't turn out to be true.

You don't have to be one of those to have credibility. But, honestly, I haven't seen anyone on Twitter who isn't one of those that has gained credibility by being right. On the other hand, there are posters on this board that have proven to have credibly information including RebelMax and 60Minutes. And I don't usually agree with RebelMax's conclusions regarding the stuff that he gets, but he clearly has some inside sources. So, if he or 60Mintues said it was true, then I would give it more credibility despite it not coming from a traditional journalist.

Anyway, I agree with you that even if it is truly it doesn't necessarily put the Saints in a bad light.
