Ross Jackson speculates Carr trade to Giants

Carr's $30 mil salary doesn't become guaranteed until 5 days after the new league year starts. So there may be a way to move some of his base salary to guaranteed salary (paid by the next team) to entice him to waive his no trade clause during that period. If he were straight up cut, he'd only get $10 million more and even that cap space would be recouped by the team if he signs somewhere else because he has offset language in his contract. Either way, we'd save the $10 million for 2025 at some point and he'd be off the books for 2026. But it would be nice to get even a late pick for him if one was out there.
I'm not a cap guy.
Would you know how much it would lower the cap for the 2025 season if he did get traded?
