I mean, what turned Washington around is drafting JD5 and then Quinn brought in a bunch of vets he liked to build a better team culture. I'm not sure the GM had a lot to do with that other than drafting JD5 which I thought was a no brainer since I thought he was by far the best QB in that draft.
Anway, I want Loomis to move on and I want a new young GM, but the truth is that even if you go get a guy from one of the top organizations for the last 5 or 10 years, there is still no guarantee that he's going to be any good, much less better than Loomis. He'll certainly be different, but maybe not better.
