Cowboys officially hire Brian Schottenheimer as Head Coach

Schottenheimer has a pretty good career of success. I would honestly say this past year as OC for the Cowboys was probably his worst year yet, and it still wasn't bad. The biggest problem was the run blocking. Dowdle just had a wall of defenders in front of him every time he got the ball in his hands. I never understood that. That Oline is a pretty good Oline but they got absolutely bullied in the run game for some reason. The talent they had, it really shouldn't have happened. I can't quite put my finger on it, but my gut feeling tells me the blocking scheme was highly suspect.

If Prescott hadn't gotten injured the Cowboys had a good shot at the playoffs.

I think he'll do good in Dallas. I'm curious to see if they progress, regress or stay about the same following McCarthy's departure.
