Imo... You have MM who is a middle of the pack Coach that's probably on the decline or you can try to hit on Joe Brady that probably has elite potential.
You aren't going to be contending for two seasons. So, why not try to hit on Joe Brady?
A bit harder on MM then me, but your point is exactly my line of thinking. But there is zero reason to expect Joe Brady wouldn't be a success. He's elevated every offense he has OC'd, and in some ways drastically with the exception of 1 year with Sam Darnold, who we just watched soil himself under Kevin O'Connell at the end of the season and playoffs, and we all know Kevin O'Connell is an excellent coach.
