What Head-Coach Candidates Are Dallas, Jacksonville, and Las Vegas Considering

What's bothering me is that a lot of these teams have "had their guy" and went and got them. The Bears with Johnson, Jets with Glenn, Jags with Coen and Pats with Vrabel. All great coaching candidates and they went out and got them.
The Saints knew that, so maybe the Saints weren't more interested in any of those guys than the others they have been pursing. Maybe the Saints knowing that all three coaches were leaning heavy to signing with each of those teams made the Saints feel as thought they could take their time and be thorough, instead of rushing and panicking to get "the one coach to rule them all."

What are we doing? We were first to have a vacancy, there is no clear front runner,...
Sucks to be on the outside looking in, but the Saints hiring committee no doubt has these coaches ranked. The Saints not letting anyone know how they have ranked each coach does not mean they haven't.

Loomis said they didn't start the search until the season was over, and we've only had an in person interview with Rizzi (yes, I know there was a storm). We had a head start and are dead last.
If you were the GM, what actions would you have taken to start searching for a new coach during the middle of the season?

This has to be the weirdest coaching search ever.
I don't see it as weird at all. They did the same thing last year with their OC search. The Saints are doing what they did last year. Fans and whose who "report" sports "news" are reacting the same way as last year.

The Saints are one of the more tight lipped organizations in regards to inner workings and decision making. The not knowing is I think what some people have a really hard time being comfortable with, so they fill in the blanks with speculation which is shaped by their perceptions and beliefs.

Or maybe we do have a guy and they are still coaching. But I don't think they do. It's very strangest to me.
Don't you want the team to go into each interview with an open mind and consideration for each candidate?

Or do you want them to have already decided and just conduct interviews for the sake of conducting interviews?
