What if they interview Brady and his condition for taking the job is canning Loomis?

This was a question that popped into my head as I was watching today's podcasts.

We've already seen this happen a couple of times in this cycle.

It's clear that Brady is the guy they're waiting on. If he were their guy, they could have hired McCarthy a week ago.

What if Brady wants the job, but doesn't want Loomis?

We have not seen this happen in this cycle. Nobody has demanded that a GM be fired for them to take the job. Trent Baalke who has been well known as a terrible GM essentially since he got the job, was fired after Coen turned down the job. Coen didn't demand that he be fired. That's usually what coaches do when they don't want to work with a GM, they turn down the job.

The Jets didn't have a GM so they couldn't fire one based on a demand from Glenn.
