Wyatt 6 feels like a tribute band -- a novelty that really doesn't appeal to me, but I understand why they are doing it and why some people like it. Individually all are reasonably talented, but their ethos and motivations have always been directly tied to Bray and the announcers have had no issue mentioning as much. There's really not even been any explanation about who the characters are, where they came from, or their tie to Bray outside of Bo.
I don't think it's dead, but it's hard to see a capacity for them outside of their current use: an attraction, that operates totally outside of any championship picture. Some group that cleans up and eliminates a character long enough for a gimmick retooling. This is something that is probably very cool at house shows or at Indie promotions, where continuity and long form storytelling are mostly out of the window.
I loved Bray, but he really wasn't as creative as he gets credit for. He lifted pretty directly from major horror iconography and films, and made only minor tweaks. Still it was commendable and impressive that he made it work in a professional wrestling format. Still, he could never quite land the plane because his storytelling relied heavily on the framework of others’ work.
