Polymarkets has Mike McCarthy as odds on favorite to be Saints next head coach

It’s looking more and more like he’s the only credible person that will even take the job.

Brady declined the interview , Kingbury doesn’t look like he’s falling over himself to even put forth the effort to interview , Kafke and Weaver are Rooney Rule interviews.

Rizzi will take the job but he’s probably better off in Denver. That leaves Rizzi and MCCarthy really I guess

If that's the situation then we got lucky that McCarthy became available. I'll take him over Carroll and Shottenheimer and maybe even over Glenn and Coen.

And frankly, it's a difficult job to rebuild and an experienced coach like McCarthy may be the only type of coach that can turn it around.

Worse case scenario is Rizzi which would pretty much so suck.
