No Star Power

Thanks for making a post that was not coach or GM related. I agree with your assessment for the most part.

Bresee is a developing DL star. He's disruptive and he makes plays. He needs a run stuffing DT/NT next to him and further development, but it's there and it's coming.

Taylor was rated as the most disruptive player in the NFL for many weeks this season. I don't know if he finished the season that way, but he's disruptive and makes plays.

We don't have a star on offense as the only "star" is a RB who can't finish an NFL season, fades down the stretch and is turning 30 before next season. He's a fan favorite, he is what he is at this point in his career.

Olave is not and never was going to be a WR1. He either needs to put on muscle to become more durable or we need to trade him for anything.

Shaheed is a weapon. He's not a full time WR and he also cannot stay healthy to finish a season. Once he gets healthy, he should just be used as a weapon to limit the wear and tear.

Fuaga and Penning are either our OTs of the future, but at the very least they are 2/5 OL of the future.
Bressee and Taylor are in the 15-17% “hit” category.

Bresee isn’t Pro Bowl level player. He’s a consistent contributor. Alontae Taylor - honestly - his main attribute is that he’s at least available.

Fuaga is a NFL starter. He’s probably a RT. He’s not on the level of Armstead or Ram.

Penning is a below average NFL lineman. He was looking like a guy we might have to cut.

Foskey is a bust. High high 2nd Round pick.

Peyton Turner is a bust. He was a SP draft class guy tho.

Kendre Miller is a bust. All of them are really.

We paid Alvin - I doubt they wanted to but their player (college and pro ) personnel evaluations literally left them with nobody.

Think about that. Forget developing a QB. We can’t find role player NFL level running backs.
