Unusual criticism from NOF and Underhill

I read the article, I disagree w/ it but Nick is susceptible to emotional turmoil and will inherently give those types of takes from time to time.

We are at the mercy of the time it takes to hire someone, until we do, we have to accept that these conversations and thoughts will pervade the media.

This comes w/ the territory of losing

I'm a big supporter of Nick and I think he has a point that the situation looks bad for the team, but I also think his article is a bit of an overreaction when Moore, McCarthy, and even Kafka and Weaver are still on the board. It doesn't really matter what the rest of the NFL thinks of our roster or if Brady turned us down because he didn't like the roster or he knew he wasn't getting the job because all that really matters is will the next HC turn things around and start winning. The rest is just noise and fodder for talk shows, blogs, and stories.

And Nick has even admitted that McCarthy really might be the best choice and that he keeps forgetting that Moore is a serious candidate, but he would just rather swing for the fences with Brady. So I don't see how ending up with Moore or McCarthy should result in this level of reaction. But, as you said, Nick is susceptible to emotion like the rest of us and some part of me wonders if some of this is him getting tired of getting yelled at for being too positive or realizing that negativity sells in a time when there aren't a lot of positives.
