That happened previously with the Saints vs 9ers. I think under Mora. (I think.)

End of game, the 9ers kept holding the WRs on every down in the endzone.

Saints had no time outs and there was less than 10 seconds (I think.).

Clock ran out and Saints lost.

(Didn't the NFL institute that rule AFTER the Saints-9ers game mentioned in that article?)
