He found a DC that can be a longtime DC for him and won’t be poached to be a potential HC. I’m sorry you misinterpreted that and wasted your time deconstructing my statement under an incorrect assumption that I was comparing him to Lebeau in the sense of quality.

Steve Spagnuolo is another example of a longtime DC who likely won’t garner any more HC opportunites. This is beneficial in that you’re not swapping schemes every few years, thus allowing you to scout and add talent more efficiently over the long haul.
