The continued overreactions by fan base and media is embarrassing

I don't really know and I'm not sure you do either. Do you have any inside information?Did they want Vrabel? Sure but he was going to NE period. His decision had nothing to do with the Saints organization.

None of those hires are a guarantee and given the recent history of those franchises, it's not a given that any of them will succeed in those places. I mean look at those franchises. They suck every year, they're always at the top of the draft order, and it seems like they're always replacing coaches. The Saints finished 5-12, mainly due to massive injuries, and yet they're still picking 10th in the upcoming draft. 9 teams were worse.

I'm not defending Loomis either. He made a huge mistake with DA. He's now gotta correct that. Will he? We'll see.
Of course we don't know, but we can make an educated guess. Almost every post on SSF is some form speculation. Go back and read the OP's original post, where he stated in fact that we did not want Glenn or Brady.

The entire point is not really about who the Saints wanted or did not want, it's about the optics. Once again let's focus on what this post is about, no matter how you spin it, the Saints have had several candidates pass on them for other teams. You can quibble about how much the Saints where really interested in those coaches but you can't pretend like it does not paint the team in a bad light.

Is it really that much of a stretch to say that the Saints HC is just not a very desirable spot. I am not saying that the Saints should hire any candidate or that even missing out on a candidate is the end of the world. Not even saying we can't still hire a good coach. All I am saying is that I think the OP is wrong. I think it's fair to point out that missing out on AG is a bad look for the FO and that there is nothing inherently wrong with saying this.
