Closer look at Kellen Moore in the NFCCG today

The posts above do a great job of discussing the pros and cons of McCarthy versus Moore. All opinions are valid; but without interviewing the candidates, listening to their plan and gauging their leadership qualities through interviews and gathering intel through league references (other coaches and players who have played for both) it's impossible for fans to really know who is the better fit for this job. Let's hope the Saints do a deep dive on both and make the right pick.

But regardless, I think the Saints are selecting between two good options (as good as any prospects hired in this coaching cycle).

Why are we discounting Rizzi from the options? Regardless of what our thoughts are on him, the Loomis desire for continuation gives him significant leverage for the job. Then something happened (we have no idea what) but Underhill made a post about Rizzi wow'ing the front office with his plans and vision that Underhill ended up removing.

If anything, he seems like the front runner more so then the other two. I understand the storm, but there also seemed zero urgency to interview McCarthy whereas we're seeing plenty of urgency with Moore and saw urgency with Rizzi.
