But just to respond, yes when a team is hiring a coach is usually because they are bad, but that's not what we are discussing in this post. The OP belives missing out on AG and Brady was a good thing and thinks that anyone that thinks differently is ignorant.
The point I have been trying to make is that of the teams looking for coaches this year it would seem the Saints are maybe the least desirable location. I don't think that a wild statement to make.
Not all bad teams are created equal. Some have better options at QB, some have more cap space or more draft capital. Some even have intangible perks like location, prestige of being a coach for that team, etc.
Let me ask anyone a question. Do you think the Saints would prefer to have Vrabel, Johnson, or Glenn over any of the remaining coaches they will likely hire? I think the answer is yes they would.
