Closer look at Kellen Moore in the NFCCG today

Please tell me what "top tier" means to you.

When "the entire NFL, the NFL media" talks about top tier that are talking about coaches considered to have equal ability and expected success. They all have McCarthy and Moore right up their with Glen, Vrable and Johnson.

Dallas hired Schottenhemier, so that makes him top tier to you? Because it seems like top tier to you means the first coaches hired. That's not how "the entire NFL, the NFL media" defines top tier.
I already said who was seen as the top tier candidates in a previous post and I agree as to why they were. Two were coordinators on the leagues best team and the other was fired last year in what most people thought was the stupidest HC firing in recent memory.

Nobody has had McCarthy and Moore as top coaching candidates this cycle. 2 teams did a first interview with McCarthy (Bears interviewed 12+ candidates) and 3 with Moore (Cowboys and Jags). None asked for a 2nd interview with either besides us.

Now, I think either can be decent coaches for us. But I won't pretend they were the cream of the crop either. We're not getting the top coaches with our situation.
