Saints interviewed Eagles OC Kellen Moore [ 2nd interview completed on Jan 27 in Philly]

I don't hate it. My biggest concern is I'm not so sure Nuss is that guy. But maybe he's a bit of a late bloomer like Daniels and Burrow were. Time will tell.

I think there will be a pretty solid group of QBs coming out in the 2026 draft, so we'll have options, hopefully.

I would say his development arc is closer to Burrow's than Daniels. Daniels had a ton of experience before transferring to LSU. His first season wasn't that great, but skyrocketed his second season.

Burrow didn't play much until he transferred and showed flashes in 2018 with the TAMU and the Bowl Game against UCF as his coming out party.

Nuss waited his chance, Nuss played sparingly his first two seasons and had a good bowl game against Wisconsin.

He had a good season stats wise, but some ups and downs on decision making in his first season as QB1, but his best football was at the end of the season, very similar to Burrow as his best football was the TAMU and UCF games.

Now Nuss is returning as a 5th Year Senior, a full season under his belt and tons of talent. It is lining up for a season to solidify himself as one of if not the top QB in the 2026 draft.

Manning should play at least 2 seasons before coming out, so 2027 draft for him.
