That relationship was soured when Kellen Moore left after McCarthy took over play calling duties. It would be like us trying rehire Rob Ryan as head coach instead of Dennis Allen (which actually might have turned out better LOL).
But regardless. The two people you never, ever look at as making rational decisions were Al Davis and Jerry Jones.
