I do not think this report carries much weight, we are just the final team without a coach so they are printing all these salacious articles to get views and clicks, the Saints are pretty private and low key in their HC pursuit(s) and we do not get that much coverage even when Payton and Brees were leading this franchise so why all of a sudden are we believing "reports".

I don't know. Where there is smoke there is usually some fire. It's not just the podcasters saying it anymore. It's local and national media saying it. I believe the front office overestimated how desirable the Saints job is right now. You could hear it in his end of season presser when he said he didn't think he had to sell the job to candidates. Either way, somebody is taking this job in a couple more weeks at the latest.
