Hiring Moore = Ashton Jeanty as 1st rd pick?

If you use the word FIX then that needs to be applied to free agency. Not the draft, especially a top 10 pick when you have a chance to add a blue chip prospect.

It's a multi-year project, you don't do one thing and then the other. You draft the best player available. You don't pass up an elite playmaker to draft an inferior lineman just like you shouldn't pass up an elite lineman to draft an inferior player just because they can make contested catches.

You say it won't work the other way but "toys" are just as vital as the line. If I have a "toy" that can get open quickly or make a contested catch then my line doesn't have to block as long. If I have a "toy" with elite vision and can break tackles then the holes don't need to be as big, if a player comes in unblocked then my "toy" can break the tackle and get positive yards.
Practically there’s no such thing as elite running behind an inferior line
In fact you’re probably shaving years off a back’s career
And no one is saying that if the only lineman available at 9 is graded at 20 on your board you take him anyway
But if you have both graded at 9 you definitely take O or D line and wait a year for your elite playmaker
