Sucking is not the only way to draft a franchise QB. Kansas City got Mahommes without sucking. Green Bay got Rodgers and Love without sucking. The Ravens got Jackson without sucking.

A lot of really good QB's got drafted in the middle to the end of the first round and a few in rounds after that.
