I am just imagining being someone waiting at the airport for pick up of family, friends, whatever watching the board for a flight that's scheduled to land within minutes and all of a sudden you're in a completely different scenario
Yeah it’s just awful. I think they were 60 seconds or less from wheels on the ground.
I’ve done that very approach many times - the 33 runway from the south gives you the whole DC skyline if you’re on the right side. It’s a beautiful landing.
