Kellen Moore most likely to be Saints coach; Saints meeting Moore again after Super Bowl, Kellen Moore has begun working on assembling staff

It's hard to know how this went down. Maybe this is just people assuming he had an issue with it? Maybe it's McCarthy's people trying to save face by getting it out there it wasn't a great job and that's why MM pulled out? Maybe it is Moore's agent spreading this so that the Saints make a bigger offer than they would normally make in this situation?

And like I said, if he went in with questions about the QB position, but ultimately decided he wanted the job because there were no expectations for year one and he would be given a year to build the roster and find a QB, I'm fine with that.

If he didn't see the QB issue, you would have to question his knowledge of the game.

In the end, if a guys takes a job, then you know he wants the challenge.
And there will be multiple avenues to consider for the quarterback position. They'll need to make a decision pretty quickly in March whether to roll will Carr or use the $30M he's set to make elsewhere. The FA options aren't that pretty, but if they were to cut Carr they'd surely bring in a veteran.

I'll honestly be surprised if they don't add a quarterback somewhere in the draft, I just don't think they'll be taking one at #9, and I don't think they'll be able to trade up for Ward or Sanders (not that I'd want them to). But a quarterback could be taken anywhere from the second round down -- or I could even see them sliding up into the bottom of the first if there was a guy they really liked.
