You do not overcome 11 years of starting QB experience in 6 games when you were 3rd on the roster in training camp and running the scout offense. I didn't see Carr being 11 years of experience and $39 million a year better than Rattler. Moderately better under those circumstances, but not enough.
He's already got more pocket awareness than Carr. Side effect of playing behind an awful OL in college with only one real receiving option and not much of a threat at RB.
I'm not saying this to bag on Carr, but he doesn't seem to have the feel for the pocket you'd expect for an 11 year vet. Rattler has to work on dropping backwards instinctively when rushers are coming at him, but he seemed to be working to break that habit when he came in in relief of Haener after that legendary first half Haener put up against the Commies.
