Saints Execs love Spencer Rattler per ESPN’s Matt Miller

He has NFL starter talent, and absolutely no give up on him. These are the 2 things I know for sure about Spencer. The 2 questions that he needs to answer are…. Can he learn and play within an offense….? And given some blocking and talent, can he make good decisions and distribute the ball?

We have not been able to get the answer to those up to this point. Because he was a rookie playing with backups.

He has proven that time and again in college by being the only spark on offense for the Gamecocks, and when he had talent with the Sooners, he was a complement to the playmakers around him.

Rattler has proven (at least to my amateur eyes) the ability to lead an offense; those same intangibles he had in college translate to the pro game.
