Kellen Moore most likely to be Saints coach; Moore has begun working on assembling staff; Schefter: “Moore is gonna be Saints coach barring a setback”

There’s controversial and then there’s absurd. Clearly Hurts is one of the better QBs in the league. Is he elite and in the same bracket as Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, etc? No but he’s definitely not in the middle either.

And those 4 Saints players you’ve listed aren’t remotely similar to the Dallas ones, so I highly doubt Moore sees us like them in any way. Comparing Shaheed to Gallup and Kamara to Elliott particularly makes no sense, they’re nothing alike. Also, given it’s 2024 and not 2016, Dak is clearly a level above Carr.
Hurts in 23 which is the yr I mentioned had a QBR of 59.9 which was 13th . That with the best OL and a top 5-7 WR corps in the league, that's pretty close to the middle. This yr with that same best OL and same top 7 WR corp and adding the best RB in the league to take the pressure off him he made it up to 62.7 which was good enough for 8th.

While Elliot and AK have a bit different styles they both have fairly similar production. . In 21 the yr Moore had the #1 offense Elliot had about 1300 total yds 10 TDs in 17 games . AK this yr had 1500 total yds and 6 TDs. AND AK has less wear and tear on him. I think KM will see AK as the weapon he saw in Elliot in 21

Again while Gallup is a bit bigger than Shaheed their production especially in the last few yrs had been comparable. Gallup is bigger , Shaheed is faster and more of a deep threat.

Stat wise Dak and Carr are pretty comparable , but look at what Dak had around him. a very good OL Elliot before he went downhill and Pollard . Lamb, Gallup , Cooks, and a good TE in Schultz

While the players are different they are comparable in production
