When a team can establish the run, they can run the clock up and pass at will .just stopping the pass and not the run is not a winning recipe for the defense. Esp now our DBS are getting banged up and can be contested.

Bresee has to show the world he can stay in the league and can be a starter in year 3.

I would seriously prefer him to drop 20 lbs and become a DE. He will kill.

3-4 DE's are typically on the larger side. The type who aren't fast enough to rush the passer and aren't big enough to clog the middle.

And that's where the 3-4 shines to me. We've been looking for someone to put next to Cam since we let T-rex walk. First rounder after first rounder and diddlyall for results.

So, just drop that pursuit as a bad job and look for linebackers instead.
