What is the ceiling of any of the new head coaches, if Mickey Loomis is retained as GM

Lots of people think they are the guy when they have some success, until they get humbled. Loomis just got humbled when the owner fired his HC. For all he's done for the team, it seems he's earned the chance to change things up and do this one more time. I'd prefer a younger GM whose roots don't go back to the 1990's when the game was much different, but I don't think he's incapable either.

Incapable may not be accurate, but we have to look at the reality of his performance after Sean/Drew, and that is objectively terrible. Just because we are scheduled to hire a new coach, who may or may not work out, does not negate our current situation. We lack young talent, our cap is a mess, and we do not have an elite quarterback. The least he could do is bring some new blood into the FO, but his ego would not allow him to acknowledge that either.
