one time at work a vendor shipped like 30 Kringle Cakes to us before Christmas. i opened one up and i was like, it looks just like a king cake, except it has almond slices on top instead of sugar.. i had never heard of them, but they tasted good . i mean, it wasn't quite as good as a king cake but better than what you'd get from most grocery stores..
they were shipped from Ohio i think .
I enjoy a good Kringle cake. They are sold at Trader Joe’s around here, and that’s the only thing I get from that store (not out of principle, I just have a big family, and I can’t afford to shop for groceries there).
