Saints Execs love Spencer Rattler per ESPN’s Matt Miller

The thing is that the more or less healthy OL that played later in the year never reached the level of the first two games again. Yes, they were fine at times, but the OL is pretty far from being good at this point. If Fuaga and Penning continue to develop they might be. But there is no guarantee that is going to happen especially with Penning.

Anyway, we are going to have a new OC and a new system, we don't really know how Moore, or whoever ends up being HC, will want to play.

And it's not just one guy who said this. Both Underhill and Triplett have said that Rattler has several big fans in the front office. Maybe Moore agrees or maybe he doesn't.
You know as well as I do an OL is a group. You can't expect them after being a hodge podge of an OL for 10 games and then all of a sudden they are healthy and it's business as usual. When they were all healthy again they hadn't played together for like 8-10 wks

I read where the Eagles and Stoutland were mostly a gap scheme but switched to much more a wide zone when Moore got there so I would expect to see much of what Kubiak did as far as the run game

Moore may very well like SR but I don't think him or any 1st time HC is going to go into the season with a 5th rd basically an almost rookie QB as the starting QB. All that says is this season is basically just a glorified pre-season and we're playing fore a higher draft pick. It's just the wrong msg
