Well the problem in hiring Rizzi would be that we already lost 90% of the coaching staff. So he'd have to hire a new staff, which would be like Rizzi having a fair shot. Then there's the what if other teams poach your coordinators every year. Will Dan Campbell survive? remains to be seen, but suspect he will. I think we all know that he will. Hes got that electricty that people gravitate to. So does Rizzi.

I really think with Johnson and Glenn gone, especially Johnson, that Lions team will show it's true colors with Campbell. That "football guy" demeanor will only take you so far. Not a collapse, but a noticeable regression. I really don't know why so much value is put on whether or not the coach is, I dunno, emotional? One that yells a lot or whatever is inherently better than not?

Either way, we really wanna double down on hiring a HC from the staff we already have? We need something new, for better or worse. Things need to change around here.
