What you have described is exactly the kind of leadership that the players say Moore displays. He just doesn't yell and get mad like Rizzi. The problem with the Rizzi approach is that if you don't win, and win fast, players are going to tune out the yellers. Especially if they aren't able to explain why things aren't working and Rizzi can't do that on either side of the ball. He can only do that for special teams which doesn't address the issues of most of the good players you have on the team.
And how good Campbell is when he has to replace his OC and DC is yet to be seen. And I don't think it is the yelling and getting mad that works for Campbell. It's his connection with the players and the fact that he takes personal responsibility when things go wrong.
