Kellen Moore most likely to be Saints coach; Saints meeting Moore again after Super Bowl, Kellen Moore has begun working on assembling staff

I think you live in a world that thinks teams expect UDFAs that were picked up midseason to contribute right away. Sean saw enough potential to bring him in. AT wasn't polished, but he showed a lot more potential on the field when given the opportunity for the Saints than Cedrick Wilson ever did. The fact is that we haven't developed a player of any note since Sean left. And when your team isn't good, that's something you have to do. They gave up on him prematurely considering the lack of production of who was in front of him.

Perrry was not an UDFA. He was a 6th round pick. And he could not learn the offense and ran wrong routes. When a guy gets cut from a team that basically has no decent WRs on the roster and is not claimed on waivers, that tells you what the rest of the NFL thinks of them. And Sean only put Perry on his practice squad despite a bad group of WRs in Denver.

And, as great of a coach as Payton is, he loved to keep tall project WRs on the roster or on his PS for years that never really developed into much of anything. The list is very long. He still won't let go of his dreams for Humphries.
