I like his optimism in general, but maybe not the unnecessary pressure this type of thinking puts on the team.
Our roster can't compete for a title right now, and the sooner we accept that the better. With good drafting, development, coaching, and stability we can be back in title contention heading into the 2027 season. I think that's the realistic target we need to adjust ourself to.
Sadly, I doubt DD will still be playing by then.
