Netflix axes controversial nine-hour Prince documentary

I used to work with a guy who had, at one time, been Prince’s head of security.. it’s been a long time, so i dont remember too many details.. the only two things stick out in my mind are that the guy said Prince played basketball every day with his security detail and his friends (which in some cases was a blurry line) and that, for a guy who only stood 5’3”- Prince was an exceptional hooper…. The other thing i remember, when i asked some question about groupies or something- the guy just laughed, shook his head and said ‘Dude, you wouldn’t even believe’.. he said they’d be staying in a hotel somewhere , Prince would get done with one woman, send her on her way down the elevator - and at the same time, another woman would be on her way up on a different elevator to see him.. he said this happened constantly .

So in other words- other than his obvious tremendous talent- his life didnt seem all that different than what i imagine most rock star’s lives to be like .
