With regards to Prince playing VH, I've never seen him do anything resembling EVH.....was he technically capable? Maybe, but in truth there are much faster, more technical players than EVH.....
Technical capability was what I was addressing, so we're really not arguing here.
You're right about the faster/more-technical players than EVH being out there. I didn't want to throw out a list of credible emergency EVH stand-ins in a Prince thread -- but, yes, there were/are others. And not all of them are rock players.
