Sorry this is insanity, Cam is not retiring. For every player you released, you have to sign a player to take their place. You are releasing players that will make less than the league min and some of them are promising young players. You are trading players that don't have much trade value.
You are pretty much gutting the team just so you can had some cap space next yr
