I Think Sometimes We Focus on the Wrong Things (My Thoughts on Derek Carr Catching Backlash for Not Being in the City)

Over the last few days, I have seen a few posts on social media criticizing Carr for not being in the city because the Super Bowl is happening. People feel Carr has missed an opportunity to fully grasp the New Orleans culture by not participating in Super Bowl-related events similar to how Jameis, AK, Drew, and Colston have. I'm not bothered by what this guy does in his spare time; I only focus on whether he can win Sunday football games when he puts that Saints uniform on. I'm not just zeroing in on Carr; that's for everyone.

He's just not into the city like that, and that's okay in my book. That concludes my Ted Talk.
I don’t believe that’s true at all. He probably feel unwelcomed. And would get booed and embarrassed by drunk locals. Fans are such a weird bunch in Nola. They rip you to pieces and when he gets the messege and takes his toys and goes home. Then he takes 3x trash talk from the fans, for going home. The dude can’t win at all. Lol
