I don't know. New Orleans is different than other cities. It's differences are WHY the Super Bowl comes so often. What the team means to the city is different than what some other teams mean to theirs.
Obviously, there is no requirement for him to do the things many others have done. But he IS the QB. The supposed face of the Saints franchise. And he's nowhere to be found during footballs biggest week in the city he plays for. It's a weird look. Maybe he's just not a good fit culturally and to many Saints fans that is sometimes as important as how they play. Jameis being prime example of that. Is it fair? Maybe not. But lots of things aren't fair.
